The Fallon Gong: The Bell Tolls for Thee Jimmy Fallon

March 6, 2009 | celebrities

Fallon: The Poor Man's Adam Sandler (bear in mind the poverty line has not been adjusted for inflation)

Would somebody out there, please, please tell us in 200 words or less preferably, how this Jimmy Fallon guy can have his own show? How can this maladroit man-childĀ  maroon replace Conan O’Brien?

It’s the equivalent of running a Segway Scooter in the Monaco Grand Prix.

Going back to NBC’s glory years, we’ve decided to briefly resurrect The Gong Show (the actual gong is singed after several tours with Van Halen) and have decided to run our own Fallon Gong.

The original show featured amateur performers of varying degrees of talent, judged by a panel of experts—experts at being really far removed from the entertainment business.

We feel that while Fallon is clearly an amateur, we the public (because Jamie Farr might be dead—we haven’t checked) have the right to take on the role of judge from the hit show, The Gong Show and hit this savant-deficient idiot with a giant virtual gong, hence…the Fallon Gong.

Join us, will you (even if you’re in mainland China). If this venture proves successful, well we’ve got something in the works for Dane Cook too.
